First Prototype Practice

This prototype was my first attempt at using adobe XD. The key thing was to make my interactions fluid and simple. This was the first challenge that I received from Daily UI a simple login or sign up page. My design approach was to prototype the screen and the data being keyed in. Here is my UI design interpretation of the project

The initial screen

The sign up page

The sign up page with dummy data

Confirmation page

My prototype idea was to make the "flashy" lightning bolt logo move from the central up and then back to the center. I also wanted to mimic the screen lock iteration(the slide up iteration to be precise) for the small white arrow, but I wanted it to be kind of like a mystical door function where you drag it to the logo to kind of activate the next screen. Since the prototype app isn't exactly for a specific industry, I didn't feel it necessary to add any industrial specific animation. The result was something like this.

I couldn't publish this on a mock up since my laptop keeps giving me an error when I try to screen record with the Win+G command. So I had to settle for Flashback.
